Every year we have a Mother's Day Tea with our Kindergartners at Fries Avenue. Boys are outfitted with a tie or hat and girls with fascinators for their hair and beads and bracelets. Everyone comes looking their best. This past year we had over a 100 people attend. Mothers, fathers, grandparents and siblings all wanted to be a part of it. We took an example from Mary and Rebecca Banning and held the tea in victorian style commemerating our community's rich history - but we do it at a kids level. They learn to be comfortable in a different setting. Utilizing their best manners, socially interacting with people of all ages and sharing a good meal with their family and friends
